From Mystic or going Northbound on 95 from NYC |
Take I-95 North, Exit 91. At light at end of exit ramp, go straight ahead onto Route 234 East (Pequot Trail). At end of Pequot Trail (at light) take a left onto Route 1. Proceed on Route 1, approximately 1/4 mile, under the railroad overpass and take an immediate right onto Mechanic Street. Yardney is about 1/4 mile on the left. |
From Providence and Points North |
Take I-95 South to exit 92. Take a left off the exit onto Route 49 and follow to a light (approx. 1 mile). At the light bear left on to Route 2 and follow this road to the end (approx. 3 miles) onto Route 1. You will see a train over pass at the end of this road. Take a left to go under the overpass and take an immediate right onto Mechanic Street. Yardney is the large brick building on your left (approx. 1/4 mile). Approximate travel time: 45 minutes. |
From Hartford Airport |
Leaving the airport you will follow (20 East) which leads to 91 South to Hartford. Continue following 91 South to Exit 30 (left hand exit - I-84 East/CT-2 East). Follow this road for approx. 1/2 mile and take Route 2 East (Norwich/New London) Exit 55. Follow Route 2 for approximately 40 minutes until it merges with Route 11 South Exit 19. Proceed on Route 11 S to the end. At the bottom of exit, take a left (Rt. 82) to the first light, right onto Route 85. Then take Route 85 South to I-95 North. From I-95 N take exit 91. At the end of the exit ramp go straight (Pequot Trail - Route 234). At the end of this road, at the light, take a left onto West Broad Street (Route 1). Approx. 1/4 mile you will come to a railroad overpass. After the overpass take a quick right onto Mechanic Street. Yardney is the large brick building on your left, approx. 1/4 mile. Approximate travel time: 1 hr. 20 min. |
